Valentine’s Day is pegged as the one day in the calendar year to wear RED.

So I chose white because what use is a dress if you are going to blend in with the rest of the population. Can you imagine sitting across from your lover in this number at a restaurant where everyone else is wearing red?

It feels like I never left, I hope you have been well. The test run is over and now 2016 is upon us for real this time no more January. This is the one dress you need to take you through the year. I promise you it will have no rest.

I have been working on creating a completely functional wardrobe and not just great pieces that you can only wear once. I hope you can take this journey with me, pick and learn from me and even give me a few pointers.

When I saw this maxi on VivoActivewear, I was convinced it would not work for my body type. I had only seen it on curvy women and it looked splendid. I had to have a piece of it. First it fit the bill for something more formal and then I just could not stop imaging how many different ways I could change it up.

Throughout the week, I am going to show you how I played with the dress, if you are still looking for something to wear to dinner this Valentine’s Day you might want to drop in and pick it up. I promise you his jaw will drop when he sees you.

It happens to have almost 10 different colours and fits anyone between size 6-18. Imagine that, it is literally the sisterhood of the travelling dress; your whole clan can fit into it.

We start with the deep plunging neckline and open sides that is a little risqué. There is a slight risk of side boob spillage but what is fashion without a little scandal.

Probably the simplest look to pull off and with a high bun and chandelier earrings. Next post will be up tomorrow
